Vastly different to the 2017 this is a full-bodied Riesling showing natural high acidity balanced with rich apricot/peach characters. This wine is the perfect addition to an Indian or Thai curry.

Sauvignon Blanc Semillon
This wine is a 90/10 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon. The nose shows subtle hints of white peach and fig whilst the palate is unctuous with lingering chamomile tea over peach like stone fruits.

Chardonnay
This wine is a classic oak-aged Beechworth Chardonnay. It has a golden hue. The bouquet is intense showing aromas of meal with hints of citrus and pear, along with a subtle overlay of oak and minerality. The palate is rich with a creamy texture and long length. This is a full-bodied chardonnay that shows intense fruit in the palate along with seasoned lees and oak characteristics.

'The Piano Player' Rose'
A gorgeous ruby red shown off to perfection in flint bottles. This Rosé is bone dry, fruity and elegant. The nose shows lashings of ripe strawberries and blackberries. The palate is full and granular with soft spice, red and black berries. This is a long, serious and earthy wine designed to be paired with food.
The Rosé is named after Dave Mortimer, who was the concertina player at the Glenrowan Inn during the siege that eventually saw Ned Kelly arrested. Dave and his family lived at Haldon in the 1920s.

Pinot Noir
Crafted in the style of Burgundy this Pinot showcases red fruits and earthy/forest characteristics akin to sous-bois achieved in many French Pinots. Fine tannins compliment the fruit profile of the wine showing black cherries and currents. Perfect on its own or paired with robust dishes such as duck. Will cellar for many years.

Shiraz
This Shiraz shows a deep red colour. The nose initially displays cloves, plums, baked cherries, allspice, and black pepper, along with the dusty earth character typical of Beechworth’s granitic soils.
It has a soft palate with textures of soft leather. Red berries particularly mulberries give fruit sweetness with a background of raspberry licorice. A fine and elegant wine with silky soft tannins bursting with freshness and youthful exuberance. Will cellar for years.

'THE EDGAR WALLACE' CABERNET SAUVIGNON
This wine is a rich and deep red colour. The nose is complex pretty clay earth with layers of red flower scent and fresh wooded forest.
The palate is full of fruit flavours like dried cranberry and sarsaparilla root with an enduring finish. Long and persistent, fine tannins that draw through and lively acid frame the primary fruit flavours. This wine will develop over many years. Cellar for 10 years or more.

The Clarence John
This wine is a 50/50 blend of Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon. A combination of a beautiful drinking wine along with the ability just grow better and better with age.
The nose shows blueberries, violets with potpourri and dried mixed herbs. The palate is both generous and soft with black/purple berry fruits and red currents. This wine is full bodied with a rich and long length complemented by balanced acidity and fine tannins. Drink now or cellar for years!
